Grown in Colombia, this unrefined, organic sugar is made from three varieties of sugar cane. Farmers harvest canes and deliver it to the local press where the juice is evaporated, cooled and sifted into the soft, caramel toned sugar. Sweet, rich, caramel flavour.
Artisan Story
Level Ground’s organic cane sugar is packaged by a Fair Trade Organization (FTO) in Colombia called Fruandes, whose mission is to provide positive employment for women.
