Artisan Story

Lost Horizons has had a relationship with artisans in Nepal since the 1990’s.  It started small and has grown to over 600 artisans working on a collection of beautifully hand knit items.  Most of the artisans are women in the Katmandu Valley whose families benefit from their work in a Fair Trade environment.  Environmental consideration has become paramount and artisans work with AZO-free dyes and sustainable materials.   Lost Horizons is a member of the Fair Trade Federation.
