Bring the ocean into your home with this artfully handcrafted hand blown glass octopus ornament. An interesting fact about octopuses, they have 3 hearts, because two pump blood to the gills and a larger heart circulates blood to the rest of the body. Octopuses have 9 brains because, in addition to the central brain, each of 8 arms has a mini-brain that allows it to act independently. Artfully created by skilled glass blowers in the heart of old Cairo, Egypt. The art of glass blowing began in Egypt at least in the 3rd Century A.D. based on a poem written on papyrus that describes the technique. - Dandarah’s blown glass products are designed to be functional, while preserving the artisans’ technique.
