Everyone loves music! Make your own with this colourful, etched shaker handcrafted by makers with Manos Amigas. Makers working with Manos Amigas in Lima, Peru harvest ripe gourds, peel them, and allow them to dry in the sun before using burnt wood and natural paint to create the design. An estimated one-third of families live in Lima’s city slums without access to proper sanitation or healthcare.

Manos Amigas is an artisan group that works with family workshops and small business groups in impoverished regions. They partner with Ten Thousand Villages.
